Go Cats! My name is Katie Freking and I am one of the K-3 Special Education teachers. This is my 10th year teaching and my 4th year teaching special education. I LOVE helping students grow in academics and social skills! I have truly found my calling in special education and believe all students can grow and learn. I believe in collaboration with teachers, parents and the community in order to help our students become the best they can be!
A little about Ms. Freking......
I am from Le Mars, IA, where Blue Bunny ice cream is made and it is the ice cream capitol of the world! I am the oldest of three, I have a younger brother and sister. My sister recently just had a baby so I am now an aunt! I went to Iowa State and I have a dog named Nugget. Nugget is 3 and around 95 pounds!
Some of my favorites....
I love the Kansas City Chiefs! My favorite color is green and my favorite food is anything with cheese: cheetos, cheese pringles, etc. My favorite restaurant Fong's pizza and my favorite fast food restaurant is Hardee's. I enjoy black unsweetened tea and the little Starbucks espresso cans.
