Course Description

Anatomy and physiology is the study of the human body and how it works.  A major focus of this course is systemic anatomy where students examine the various systems of the body.  During this time, other concepts such as organic chemistry, histology, and biotechnology are utilized.  Instructional methods include laboratory activities, cooperative learning, independent study, discussion, and lecture. This course concludes with a complete dissection of the fetal pig.
