Language Arts 10

Language Arts 10 is a Springboard-based class with the overarching theme of cultural exploration. The major works of literature studied are THINGS FALL APART by Chinua Achebe and JULIUS CAESAR by William Shakespeare. Students will hone writing abilities by producing a literary analysis, personal essay, and cultural narrative. A special emphasis will be placed on speaking skills, and students will have the opportunity to perform speeches and act in a play.
