This newsletter is to provide families with important information and upcoming changes that have been made to the Carlisle School District (CSD) transportation rules and policies effective for the 2019-2020 School Year. The complete transportation rules and policies are available on the Transportation page on the school district’s website.
Student Bus Passes. All students, PK-12 will be required to have a bus pass to ride the bus. Bus passes are available for pick up at the school’s main office.
Guest Student Riders. Due to the district loading buses to utilize all available seat space on the bus for cost efficiencies, No guest students will be allowed to ride along with students. Only students who are assigned to ride the bus may be transported and must ride their assigned bus established by address on record at campus. The district cannot surpass the maximum seat capacity. Some examples of requests that will not be allowed are: playdates, sleepovers, parties, etc. If you deem the request is a true emergency then you must contact the transportation director directly. Please DO NOT send a note to school with your child.
Pay-To-Ride Services. All registration must completed on line through the district’s transportation web page registration link. District provides a maximum of 175 seats available for PTR bus services for the 2019-20 school year. Visit our district’s website for fee schedule.
