Iowa School Report Card

Knowing where you are and where you want to go is a key part of growth and improvement. Our schools regularly use academic performance data to tell us how our students are progressing and to adjust instruction for better results. While the report only tell part of the story through data, they support what we know about our district: our schools are doing very well. All Carlisle schools ranked in the upper 46% of all schools in the state, with two of our schools being the top performers in Warren County. Carlisle Elementary ranked in the upper 2% in state receiving a ranking of Exceptional and Carlisle High School ranked in the upper 8% in the state with a “High-Performing” ranking. Both Carlisle Middle School and Hartford Upper Elementary ranked in the upper 46% with a ranking of “Acceptable”. Read more to view a district snapshot for each building.

The Iowa School Report Card shows a snapshot of how Iowa schools are performing based on eight measures: student proficiency rates, student growth toward college and career readiness, annual expected growth, closing the achievement gap, college and career readiness, graduation rate, attendance, and staff retention. While reviewing the performance indicators can provide information and encouragement on our schools, the real evidence of our impact on student learning occurs every day in our classrooms. Our dedicated staff works each day to make sure all student excels and is prepared to achieve their post-secondary success.
