Welcome New School Board Members

We will be welcoming three newly elected school board members at Monday night’s school board meeting. The new members will be sworn in at the meeting and begin their 4 year term of service. Congratulations to them for standing up and helping to lead our district.
To our experienced board members who will be leaving office I want thank them for their service, commitment and dedication to the Carlisle School District.

New Vaccination Requirement for 7th & 12th Grade Students

Iowa code vaccination requirements have changed for the 2017-2018 school year, and all future school years for incoming 7th and 12th grade students. All students entering into 7th grade and born after September 15, 2004 will need proof of one dose of meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MenACWY). All students entering into 12th grade and born after September 15, 1999 will need proof of two doses of meningococcal (A,C,W,Y) vaccine; or 1 dose if received when the student was 16 years of age or older.

The CHS Alumni Association invites all former homecoming queens to the September 22, 2017 homecoming festivities! During the afternoon parade, we will have a float for all who are able to attend. Summer Reading Program

Since the start of the summer reading program in 2015, Carlisle students have read over 700,000 minutes over the summer breaks. Reading is the most important skill that our students need in life, and parents play an essential role in helping their students learn it.
