Today marks another great day in the long storied history of Carlisle Community Schools. We have been proudly named as a “Model Professional Learning Community School District” by Solution Tree, the leader in educational reform and development out of Indianapolis, IN.
As principal, I would like to thank all of our students, parents and patrons for their continued support of Carlisle High School.
To the amazing staff at CHS:
Your dedication, service and work ethic is a direct result of one of the highest recognitions you can earn as an educator. Carlisle Community School District is one of twelve school districts across North America to be named a “Model School District for PLC’s”. This is simply the icing on the cake to a banner year for you as a member of our team. The Iowa Department of Education recognized Carlisle High School as “High Performing” and one of five schools across the state as a “Breaking Barriers Award Winner”.
Indicators of our success can be found in the work we have put in as a team around the hierarchy of collaboration, guiding coalitions, progress monitoring, school improvement plan, school leadership positions and the relationships we have developed together with students and colleagues that will last a lifetime.
You are one of the main reasons that we are one of the top school districts in America! Thank you for everything you do at CHS and congratulations on being part of a team of educators who have earned this prestigious award together!
