HOW DID Carlisle SCHOOLS HELP PREPARE YOU FOR SUCCESS?

Hands down, the experience that shaped me the most at CHS was taking English Honors 11 with Ms. Stills. It wasn't so much the subject as it was the rigor. Ms. Stills held us to really high standards, and to this day, I still think it was one of the most challenging classes I have ever taken. Ms. Stills pushed me not just to be a better student, but to want to be better for myself by putting my best effort into the things I do. This is a mindset I still strive to apply today, whether it be for personal, professional, or academic goals.

Most Memorable Moment in High School

Being in the production of the Music Man senior year, making All State for Choral Reading junior year and performing on stage at Iowa State.

Advice to for Recent Graduates/Students

Start developing a good work ethic while you are in high school, it will pay off in the future. If you don’t have your life completely figured out by the time you graduate or immediately after, it’s okay. Don’t be afraid to explore new things or to change your mind. Nothing helps you grow more than getting out of your comfort zone.
