Mr. Burris

I have just finished my 16th year of teaching at Carlisle Middle School; 26th year teaching overall.  I grew up in Ruthven, Iowa, located in the northwest part of the state.  After high school, I attended the University of South Dakota. I got my first teaching job in Terril, Iowa, and I taught there for ten years before coming to Carlisle for the 2002-2003 school year. Throughout my career, I have always taught middle school aged students.  While teaching and coaching over the years, I have been fortunate to work with some amazing people.
