Kari Murray - 6-12 Building Learning Coordinator

Biography: Kari Murray is a 6-12 Building Learning Coordinator (instructional coach) in the Carlisle School District. Prior to this, she was a high school science teacher in Carlisle for 12 years. She was a 2014 Finalist for Iowa Teacher of the Year and continues to serve on the Outstanding Iowa Educators Committee. Kari received her Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Iowa State University in 2003. Since then, she has earned a Master of Science in Education (2007) and Specialist in Education (2011) from Drake University.
 
As a Building Learning Coordinator, Kari spends her days supporting teachers in their teaching. You will find her in classrooms co-teaching, observing, and working with teachers in all sorts of capacities.
