Leah Rolffs

Welcome! I am Leah Rolffs and I am the PreK-1 Building Learning Coordinator at Carlisle Elementary. The 2020-21 school year will be my 10th year in education. Prior to this position I was a kindergarten teacher and my love for early literacy inspired me to earn a Master's of Science in Literacy Education at Drake University along with a K-12 Reading Specialist Certification. Facilitating adult learning has stretched me professionally and I am incredibly thankful for the opportunity to work alongside teachers and students to improve our learning environment!

 

My husband and I live in West Des Moines. We welcomed our son, Perry, into the world during the derecho of 2020. We also have three cats. In my free time I enjoy loving on my nieces and nephews, reading nonfiction, gardening, and connecting with others.
