Stephanie Guthrie - High School Counselor

The 2016-2017 school year was my first year at Carlisle High School. Before coming to Carlisle, I was a high school counselor at Johnston High School for ten years. I am an Ellsworth Community College and Iowa State graduate who taught high school special education for seven years before becoming a counselor.

 

My family and I have lived in the district for over 10 years, so I was thrilled to have the opportunity to work in the same district my own children attend! Go Cats! I have a 14-year-old son, Carson, and a 11-year-old son, Ethan. My husband, Chris, and I have been married for 20 years. Two years ago we welcomed a miniature pinscher, Otis, into our family. You will most likely see our family at the basketball court or on the baseball field. Besides watching my boys play sports, I love to read, walk, relax outdoors, and spend time with family and friends.
