Mrs. Fick's 1st Grade Class

Welcome to Mrs. Fick's first grade classroom page!  My name is Sarah Fick.  The 2021-2022 school year will be my seventh year with Carlisle.  I taught fifth grade for three years and this will be my fourth year in first grade!  Prior to Carlisle, I taught kindergarten for seven years.

 

I graduated high school from Carlisle so I'm glad to be a Wildcat again!  I received my bachelor's degree at Simpson College and then received my master's degree from Drake University.

 

I just got married this summer, so you may recognize me as Miss Flaws previously.  When I'm not teaching I love to travel and go to concerts with my husband, Jon, spend time with family and friends, read, play sports, go to yoga, and cheer on the Hawkeyes!
