Pre-Calculus-2018 - 2019

Pre-Calculus is a continuation of and builds on the concepts studied in Algebra II.  Students will be challenged by new concepts that require graphing skills, function analysis, solving higher-order equations, the complex number system and an introduction to matrices.  Student will be expected to approach problems numerically, graphically, and algebraically.  In conjunction, students will also need to be able to justify their solutions both verbally and through well-written sentences that explain the logic and thought process of the situation.  We also spend time learning how to use technology to estimate answers, check results, complete steps to multi-step problems, and support conclusions.
