Hartford Upper Elementary (4th - 5th)

      Hartford Upper Elementary is home to Carlisle's 4th and 5th grade students.  For the 2023-24 school year, we have approximately 320 students between the two grade levels. We have an amazing staff that works tirelessly to serve all kids in our building.  Our number one goal is to serve you and your children.  We work hard on building strong relationships with stakeholders and encourage open dialogue between school and community.  We understand that our job is to educate our youth.  We take that role seriously and know that educating your children goes well beyond "just" reading, writing, and arithmetic.  At Hartford, we take great pride on meeting all students where they are and moving them forward.

     The bulk of our day consists of core academic time with the classroom teachers.  However, our student have a "specials" rotation consisting of art, music, physical education, STEM, and computer science.  Students also participate in Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), band at the 5th grade level, and morning meeting.

     Finally, we take great pride in creating a strong family community at Hartford.  We are able to get to know our kids and families on a personal level and work hard to develop those strong relationships.  If you ever have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to let us know. #hartfordrocks
